We encourage the aggregation and sharing of knowledge, resources and expertise amongst its members to aid in identifying best practices and benchmarking of non-profit organizations.
FORE was founded in March 2013 by travel buyers from several non-profit organizations to share best practices of travel programs. FORE seeks to consolidate the collective business travel expenses from members in order to leverage purchasing power with travel suppliers that result in the reduction of overall investment of business travel overhead to participating member organizations.
Besides members benefiting from networking with their peers, other benefits include benchmarking statistics and analytics that are gathered and shared. FORE has also embarked in pooled procurement and have engaged with (and continue to engage with) a number of travel suppliers to leverage our combined spend for deeper discounts.
If you are a non-profit travel or procurement manager, please reach out to us. We have a membership application as well as a membership fee. We would be happy to answer any questions you may have about us.
Once you join the organization, we have an in-person annual meeting as well as a monthly scheduled conference call. We address common issues/challenges, share ideas & solutions, and talk about opportunities. We have committees of members that work on various projects that benefit the membership.
